Requirements of Exporting Olive Seedlings and Other Seedlings Of (Xylella fastidiosa)
The project aims to prevent transmission of bacteria into the Kingdom in order to protect the crops from pests; through: 1- Ensuring that the exported seedlings are free from bacteria by complying them with the technical and healthy standards. 2- Establishing a standard system to enhance confidence and transparency of importers and investors to the necessary actions. 3- Promoting operations of monitoring and surveillance of exportation. 4- Supporting the agricultural sustainability and protecting local production. 5- Adhering to conventions and relevant international standards (IPPC-ISPMs).
